The hórreo of
Navarra is a small construction of masonry with a roof in 2 pronounced
hillsides, today covered with tiles, with slate or with sheet
steels. Except sometimes a small attic window in cog, it has
no aeration.
Reshaped in the past decades,
sometimes with the walled up bottom, hórreos seems today
unusual in the centre of villages, little used and not enough
importance in the Basque culture.
